Here are the kids running around the living room like wild banshees with their "tails" (our playsilks). I never cease to be amazed at the many creative ways they find to play with these simple pieces of material.
I am a Catholic wife and mom traveling the road of life and trying to live each day as a gift.

Kolbe and the beads
A month or so ago I got all my mardi-gras style beads out for Gemma and she loves playing with them. Kolbe is equally as entertained by them (who knew?!). As I mentioned in his 11 month post, Kolbe is really beginning to discover the world around him. I love to see his little mind at work. The other day he was playing with a set of beads (which he often likes to drop down our vent registers. intentionally). Anyways, he was in the laundry room and he tried for a good ten minutes to get them hung on the dryer handle. It was so cute, he was very patient trying again and again. And again. And again. He never succeeded, but boy did he try!
